The top five happiest countries according to a new study:
- Costa Rica
- Dominican Republic
- Jamaica
- Guatemala
- Vietnam
Two things. First, the usual stuff about money not buying happiness, yada yada.
Second, and on the other hand, clearly this means our foreign policy in Vietnam is vindicated. (If only Bob McNamara were still with us.)
(Okay, three things.) And third, and correlative with the second, we should limit our military interventions to lands in tropical zones. We can't lose.
